The Christmas season sneaked up on me once again.
Y'all, I had been lulled into a false sense of security because I got our Christmas tree up BEFORE THANKSGIVING, something that has never, ever happened in our house. (I mean, it's been a policy of mine not to mix holidays, especially because I feel sorry for Thanksgiving always getting lost in the shuffle and all. But with the late Thanksgiving I gave in, JUST THIS ONCE!) I put the tree up--and not just one, but TWO trees!
I hate to admit it, but it felt GREAT.
"I have so much time," I sang to myself as I rocked gently in my yard swing, dangling my feet and closing my eyes in the late Autumn sun.
To celebrate, I put a sweet sale on my books and posted to Instagram and Facebook. I filled orders and thought about Christmas cookies.
It was lovely, simply lovely.
And then today it hit me: I FORGOT TO POST THE SALE ON MY BLOG.

I am so sorry I didn't post it here. I would like to blame the "early Christmas tree extravaganza" but honestly that's not fair to the trees.
