The prayer for this week:
O God,
whose blessed Son came into the world that he might destroy the works of the devil and make us children of God and heirs of eternal life:
Grant that, having this hope, we may purify ourselves as he is pure;
that, when he comes again with power and great glory, we may be made like him in his eternal and glorious kingdom;
where he lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
Amen.
When things seem hopeless, when circumstances feel out of control, remember that God is still with you in the midst of all of it. No power on earth is greater than His, no love is deeper, no compassion is wider.
God has you in His hands, and He will never leave you. He understands your pain, your worry, your fears, and your hopes and dreams. He will give you strength for today, and a vision for tomorrow. He will rebuild what’s been destroyed, and will renew all things.
This week, I’m praying that you will experience a fresh wind of hope in your sails, and that you’ll find yourself moving forward once again.
Blessings,
Rachel
