I'm really excited to share a new children's book with you, by my friend and longtime blog-reader, Rebecca McNew.
Evie and Alistair: Farmhouse Warriors
Inspired by her own family, Evie and Alistair: Farmhouse Warriors is about a brother and sister who live on a farm. I love that the kids are multi-racial, just like Rebecca's own kids! The story unfolds as the children discover items that teach them about the armor of God.
The kids have a tag-along chicken named Tilly, who keeps things fun. Becca has illustrated the story in a colorful, whimsical way that is sure to inspire giggles and conversation with your favorite little people. I read it aloud to my granddaughters and they thoroughly enjoyed it.
I'm so proud of my friend's work to bring her book to life. Becca is a mom, pastor's wife, and all-around creative. Family is her greatest gift and biggest inspiration, and writing a story that helps kids discover their "own" spiritual armor is a special joy.
I hope you'll hop over to Amazon and pick up a copy or two for your own favorite little people! This would also be a good one to stock in your church library or Sunday School.
Becca is giving away a signed copy today! Leave me a comment below, and tell me who you'd like this book for!
Winner will be chosen from the comments, giveaway closes Friday at midnight!
