Several people have contacted me recently, to ask about my tutorial for painting a kitchen countertop. I've updated an older post here to include the steps we used to create a faux granite look that has held up well for over THREE YEARS. We did this project just before our daughter's wedding...something about knowing 250 guests would be at my house motivated us to spruce the place up. And because we were spending money on the wedding, we were limited in what we could spend on the counters.
This project only cost about $40.00!
