Now, let's talk about the month of June.
If you are new to Home Sanctuary (or simply need a refresher), each day I "assign" a small task and attach some points to it to make the mundane chores seem a little more fun. I love to play games, and I generally have to trick myself into doing things around the house in order to get them done. Because otherwise I'll slip into inertia and indifference. Hence, the Tally Sheet. It is amazing what I'll do for points.
Simply download and print a Tally Sheet to help you keep track of your points each day. At the end of the month, I'll ask everyone to add them up and turn them in for a chance to win a prize. Here is June's Tally Sheet:

Laurie Anna's is a "must stop" when you go to First Monday Trade Days in Canton, TX. Her shop is brimming with charm for the home - tons of things to make you fall in love with your space again. I was introduced to Laurie Anna's through my friend Priscilla Shirer. Together, we have oooh'd and aaaah'd over everything from placeholders to bedding, and when Laurie Anna's talented team did the decorating in her cottage, I swooned. Feminine, rustic, and just a touch modern. It is perfection.

Today's Small Thing is to print off the June Tally Sheet and get ready for another great month of creating sanctuary at home.
You deserve this and so does your family. Your home SHOULD be a soft place to land, and you can make it that way. Make this the month you start living intentionally - with purpose - and embrace the tiny discipline of doing Small Things together. It's fun and easy, and the results are so very wonderful.
