Here in Texas, we've had one of the hottest summers on record. So far there have been about 66 days over 100 degrees in the Dallas area - and out in west Texas they've been battling fires that have ignited the tinder-dry brush.
I hate to complain, but I'm a little bit tard of the heat.
But since "heat" has been on my mind, I was reminded of a task that I noticed needs doing the other day. It has to do with my blow dryer.
Have you ever noticed the intake screen on the back end? Mine is full of dust! In fact, I'm surprised that any air can even flow through it.
Today's Small Thing is to remove the lint-like dust from your hair dryers. A tweezer might work well for this easy task. Simply pull it out of there, and then pause to receive the effusive thanks your hard working blow dryer gives you! It will mean so much to your morning friend, even if he IS full of hot air.
Your hair will be the recipient of renewed power....and will no doubt feel silkier than ever before. What could be better than a Small Thing with beauty benefits?? Well, I can't think of a single thing.
Want to keep track of the daily Small Thing tasks? Here is a Tally Sheet that you can post in a prominent location and watch your list of accomplishments grow by the day. I PROMISE that you'll start experiencing sanctuary at home before the month is through. C'mon and give it a try!
