The Texas bluebonnets are blooming right now, so I had to take some photos of my donkey, Flash, in them. He would only stay in the flowers if we threw some feed out there...but then he kept his nose buried in the grass as he ate away, and it was a challenge to get a good picture of him. Here are a few shots...I've judiciously left out the ones where he threw a fit about not getting some carrots. Maybe I'll show those some other time, like one day when I'm mad at him.
"C'mon, pick your head up, DonkeyBoy."
"OK, nevermind, just eat the dadgum feed."
"I'll come down to your level, then."
"JEEPERS! Your head is heavy to hold up!"
