Toiletry Crappola

Has it really been a whole year since we touched bathroom drawers?? Well, that's too long. Here's a Small Thing we need to do again.

I once had a client whose favorite word seemed to be "crah-polah," with the rolled "rr" and the classy "ahs" that made it sound like a high-falutin' word from Spain. Didn't matter, because her household "crappola" looked just like my household "crappola."

Rich or poor, we all have "crappola" to deal with.  One of the most annoying piles of it is in the bathroom...uh, wait! That didn't sound right.

One of the worst crappola offenders happens in the bathroom drawers.  It's the toiletry clutter that gathers inside the hidden compartments of life.  Gunky toothpaste tubes, Q-Tips, vaseline, diaper rash ointment, wart removers, tweezers, dental floss, makeup and hair clips.I know I'm only touching the tip of the iceberg here, but you know the crappola of which I speak.

I was looking in our main bathroom drawer yesterday and the question crossed my mind:

"Do we really live like this??"

Fortunately, the answer will be "No," after today.

Today's Small Thing is to take care of the toiletry crappola that you've got in one bathroom drawer.  I can't lie: this might not be a very enjoyable job.  But if done quickly, it is sure to be rewarding, the next time you reach in for the toothpaste.
