You know, this blog is as much about friendship as it is about getting organized. As each month passes and we share in each other's lives online, I feel more and more connected with you. Do you feel that way, too? At some point we may need to create an online forum for ourselves, but I've hesitated because that seems too big for me to handle alone. Maybe ya'll can tuck that in your back pockets to think about and we can come back to it sometime soon.
Until then, there are many Company Girls who could use some prayer and encouragement today, and even though we don't have an official "forum," we can still connect. For example,
Jailynn's son is undergoing brain surgery. She has an around the clock prayer schedule set up if you'd like to participate.
Christin has had morning sickness.
Heather has some autoimmune challenges.
Lisa Leonard, our prize sponsor this month, is scheduling surgery for her son to remove a polyp in his nostril.
Sherry needs to find a new home in the next few months.
And there are many others, just in those that linked up for Coffee on Friday. Beyond that, I'll bet each of us has something we could use a sister to pray with over.
Today's Small Thing is simple: pray for a Company Girl, a "real life" one, or an online one. We need to stand with one another in prayer when life throws curve balls at us. We want to bear one another's burdens, and bless one another in Christ as well.
Do you have a prayer request? Today I'm asking you to leave a comment (anonymously if you like) with your prayer request in it. Then simply pray for the person above and below you in the comment section if you are participating in this way. If you don't have a specific request today, then just pick one (or all) to pray over.
Let's make our Company Girl more than just a casual place to stop in today. Let's really lift one another up in prayer and ask God to go above and beyond all that we can ask or think in each woman's life.
POINTS: Eternal...would it be wrong to give points for praying? If it's ok with the Lord, I'll go ahead and give 50 for praying for a Company Girl today.
