Hi everyone!
Greetings from beautiful Colorado Springs! I've been trying to access my blog for the past week so I could say hello and give y'all an update on our tv studio project, but I hit problems at every turn. A laptop that freezes when I log in, no blogging app on my phone (that works) and a kindle that won't access typepad. I finally found a mobile way to post tonight but I'm not a good texter so I'm sure this will be both short AND fraught with misspells. :)
First, I'm having a great time here at Andrew Wommack ministries. The people are fantastic and have made our job here so pleasant. I really had no idea how big this ministry was until we got here. What an honor to be part of the studio renovation! It will be stunning when finished.
I'm anxious to show some photos of our progress, which has slower than I'd like, but that is pretty typical of these things. The photos might have to wait until I get back home next week (boo!) because of this weird blogging block, but I'll try to post some on twitter and my newfound friend, instagram. I'm @rachelanneridge on twitter and @rachelridge on instagram ....so find me if you can!
Tom and Gray just left for Texas today...they both have places to be by Sunday...I will continue on here until Friday to wrap up this first phase. Looks like we will be back before the first film shoot on sept. 7 to do some "phase two" work on the set. I'll miss my guys this week - we've worked hard each day and watched the Olympics each night, it's made for a memorable time together. I've had so much fun staining woodwork with my beautiful son outside in the shop....it has been a gift to treasure.
I hope you are having a wonderful summer-July blew past and I'm looking forward to getting back to a regular schedule again. But more than anything, I'm in awe of God taking a girl who loved painting birdhouses as a hobby and bringing her to a project beyond her biggest dreams. I am proof that God does extraordinary things with ordinary people.
He is amazing.
