I'm very excited about this month's prizes!
Alicia, of Fat Daddy Sweets fame, is donating the prize for the Most Points. Her talent for creating delectible goodies will be featured in an upcoming Martha Stewart article, an honor that is well-earned. She uses only the finest ingredients in each of her confections.
The winner will receive a sampler package like this:
The sampler from Fat Daddy Sweets will include Dark Chocolate Truffles, simple and elegant, dark smooth chocolate; Old Fashioned Cream Centers, smooth cream centers in Dark or Milk Chocolate; and Turtles, smooth caramel, pecans and chocolate. The prize winner will be able to choose the flavor of cream centers they would prefer and milk or dark chocolate.
Here are a couple of photos from Alicia's shop...not necessarily of the chocolates that will be in the package, but it gives you an idea of what you'll receive.
The Random Drawing winner will receive a copy of this new book:
After experiencing the death of both parents, Margaret McSweeney recognized the importance of community like never before. Through these difficult times in life, she learned how God uses gritty circumstances to conform us to the stunning image of Christ.
McSweeney also realized that she was not at all alone. It is for this reason that she decided to compile essays into an inspiring book: Pearl Girls: Encountering Grit Experiencing Grace. Through this collection, readers will be encouraged by the heartfelt writings that deal with loss and hardship in a real and honest way. Respected authors such as Shaunti Feldhahn, Melody Carlson, Debbie Macomber, Robin Jones Gunn and others help remind every woman that they are not alone and that no circumstance is beyond the grace of God.
Lori Kasbeer is one of the contributors, and she's got an amazing story. I can't wait to read this book.
I'm really proud to offer two prizes that are both contributed by Company Girls! We have talented and generous women among us, and it's an honor to have their products featured here. I know you'll enjoy these offerings!
I've got a silly, crazy day ahead of me and I still haven't finished the Tally Sheet. I'll try and get that posted later today.....but don't hold me to it, OK? :)
